Choi eh: the Choiee spirit of just going for it
Say "Choiee" out loud and it sounds like "choi eh", the kind of thing a friend shouts when they want you to come along. We picked the name because we believe something simple: most people don't lack strength, they are waiting for someone to call "hey, come on". This page is what we believe and how we keep that promise for you.
What "choi eh" means
"Eh" is what you call out to a friend. Nothing formal, no promises, just "coming?". Choiee brings that spirit to every trekking, snow and survival-skills course: start first, get ready along the way.
If you wait until you're fit enough, equipped enough and brave enough, you usually never go. Most people who have never tried outdoor sports drop out at exactly that waiting step, before the first trip.
A limit is something to touch, not something to fear
You don't know how far you can go until you reach the point where you can't. A limit isn't a number sitting in your head, it only shows up when you push. That's why we encourage you to try instead of guessing.
And trying means falling. For a beginner, falling is part of learning, not a sign the sport isn't for you. We teach you how to fall well, get up, and keep going.
We never stop challenging ourselves
Choiee's coaches don't stand on the side and tell you to "push through". In 2026 the whole team of four went to Thailand to learn on a simulator, then to China to ride real snow at Wanda International Resort. They keep going, keep learning and keep putting themselves where they are still clumsy.
To us, a good teacher still remembers what the first time felt like and is still touching their own limits.
Four things we believe
Start first, get ready after
Readiness shows up while you are doing it, not before. The first session is always clumsy, and that's fine.
Touch your limit to know yourself
Pushing until you're tired, shaky and a little scared, inside a safe frame, is the fastest way to see you can do more than you thought.
Falling is part of learning
Nobody learns to ride without falling. We teach you to fall properly so you dare to keep going.
Dare, but prepared
The route, the gear and the technique are handled in advance. The rest, the daring, is yours.
Go for it, but prepared
Going for it doesn't mean being reckless. We invite you to try big things, then set everything up so you can try them safely.
- Eight fitness tests at the start, so you know where your body is instead of guessing
- Fundamentals on a simulator in Ho Chi Minh City before you meet real snow
- Gear prepared and safety-checked before every session
- A coach beside you, correcting on the spot, at a ratio you choose
