What to prepare before your Choiee snowboarding class
For the snowboarding course, you do not need to prepare much. We take care of the gear, so you only need the right clothes, the right socks and one attitude. Here is the whole list.
Your checklist
Provided: gear, nothing for you to prepare
Gear is prepared and safety-checked before every session, with no separate rental fee. If you would rather use your own gear, that is fine too.
You wear: comfortable sportswear, ideally long trousers
Pick clothes you can move in. Long trousers protect your skin from scrapes when you fall or brush against the gear.
You bring: tall socks, above the ankle
Best are socks that rise above the ankle bone and cover the calf. Boots hug your leg, and tall socks keep your skin from rubbing during the session.
Attitude: Chơi đi, sợ chi
In other words: just go for it, what is there to fear? Everyone is nervous the first time, and falling is part of learning. The gear, the tests and the instructor beside you are on us. The daring is yours.

Frequently asked questions
- Do I need to buy or rent gear before class?
- No. Gear is prepared and safety-checked before every session, and there is no separate rental fee. If you prefer to use your own gear, that is fine.
- Can I wear shorts to class?
- We recommend long trousers. Bare legs scrape more easily when you fall or brush against the gear.
- How tall should my socks be?
- Best is above the ankle bone and covering the calf. Short socks leave your ankle exposed to rubbing from the boot.
- I have never tried this and I am a bit scared. Is that okay?
- Everyone feels that the first time. Falling is part of learning, and we teach you to fall safely, get up and keep going. You can read more on the Choiee spirit page.
